Make The Vision Plain

By Myracle Stevenson

Patience is a virtue. I’m sure we’ve all heard this term used at least once in some context or another. We know what patience means and we know that virtue or virtuous means having or showing high moral standards. So ‘Patience is a virtue’ literally means the ability to wait for something without getting angry or upset is a valuable quality in a person. You’re probably wondering what patience has to do with making the vision plain; if you’re not wondering that, you should be.

When you have a dream, idea, plan, or vision, the best practice is to write it down and to make it plain. You have to be able to see the vision clear, on paper so that you can take the necessary steps to bring it to life. Now that you’ve seen it and written it down, it’s time to have FAITH. The word “Faith” is very profound and quite an essential part of life. It is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). Although we hope for things, we must also believe that they will come to pass. The bible references all of this in Habakkuk 2:2-3; Then the Lord answered me and said, “Write the vision and engrave it plainly on tablets so that the one who reads it will run. For the vision is yet for the appointed [future] time. It hurries toward the goal [of fulfillment]; it will not fail. Even though it delays, wait [patiently] for it, because it will certainly come; it will not delay.” God’s timing is always the right time. He said, “it will not delay”. Just because you don’t see things manifesting in the flesh as quickly as you’d like doesn’t mean God isn’t working. Keep the faith and run your race.

Everybody loves something. What is your passion? Create. Inspire. Design. Lead. There’s another saying, “When you do what you love, it’s not considered work”. This, I can attest is true. It doesn’t feel like “work” when your passion is your business. If you’re skeptical or unsure of how or where to begin, start by thinking, “how can I monetize my hobby?” For example, you may love to write; you can monetize that in so many ways. You may have a passion for helping people; monetizing that is self-explanatory. Another example, you may have a natural skill or ability to create; meaning you may not take photos or videos or edit, etc. but you see a vision of how that video or photo should be shot. This is called a Creative Director. If you need help with ways to monetize your skill/hobby feel free to comment or email me and I’ll provide you with some options and materials to get you started.
