Failure Is Not An Option
By Myracle Stevenson
But Ruth replied, “Don’t ask me to leave you and turn back.
Wherever you go, I will go; wherever you live, I will live. Your
people will be my people, and your God will be my God. Ruth
1:16
Naomi lost everything except Ruth, her daughter-in-law, who kept her faith and stood by her mother-in-law no matter the obstacles that they may endure. In long travels, this Moabite woman and Naomi went into the land of Judah where they started new lives after the death of their husbands. By law, next to kin would need to marry her to honor her late husband and bear her a child in his name. As the story continues there were no takers because of the clan she had come from. Yet she wasn’t discouraged and continued to keep her faith in God. Eventually, God blessed her with a Godly man who was also kin of her late husband; wealthy and prosperous and became the solution to Ruth and Naomi's solitude and poverty. His name was Boaz and he loved and treated Ruth and her mother-in-law with kindness and together boar a son and started the bloodline that Yeshua would be born into.
As you can see what we may see as our failures God has a plan to turn it into greatness. We can’t just give up, we have to keep pushing until we have accomplished our destinies so that greatness can continue to grow through future generations. Once again failure is not an option if we fail the future fails, so let us make a difference.
